Company should offer various base heights to fit consumer needs (example if you just have this on the base on your counter you CANNOT fit a standard glass under the spigot. I have mine on the corner of my deep sink so luckily it works out for me provided I don’t have a sink full of dishes haha. Due to the aforementioned lack of proper seal, little critters like ants and spiders are able to get inside of this unit.
