I bought my house last year and didn’t receive any keys to my shed. Luckily, the front door was unlocked but the side door was permanently locked so I couldn’t use it. I finally had enough and bought this lock to replace it. It was easy enough to detach the old one. Just unscrew the hex screw on the back until the T handle is loose, then unscrew the two screws on the front. Replacement was easy, as the new lock fit the drill holes from the old one. Ten minutes of work and less than $20, and I now have a working shed door that locks!Planning on purchasing a second one so I can have a front shed door with keys as well.
