The Rust-Oleum Garage Floor Coating Kit comes with all the essentials to make your garage floor look amazing. Prepping the area prior to applying the epoxy coating is a long and difficult task. It’s an essential and necessary task, because the floor has to be free from oils, dust, or any kind of dirt, or the epoxy floor coating won’t stick appropriately. Area prep is assisted by the concrete etching material that is enclosed in the kit. There are specific instructions and directions that need to be followed to the letter, so that the epoxy coating will stick. After the floor is prepped, then comes the fun and easy part. Rust-Oleum has packaged their epoxy coating in a two-part bag. Laying the bag flat on a hard surface, and rolling Part A toward Part B, and Part B toward Part A eventually bursts the seam between the two parts, and combines the two essential coating ingredients into one.
