To say this knife is sharp would be an incredible understatement. I’ve never seen a serrated blade this sharp. In fact I may be too irresponsible to own this knife. The first time I used this knife I was cooking a turkey. I used it to cut the onions and celery for the stuffing and was really impressed. A bit later I went to cut the peeled potatoes down in size like I normally would with a paring knife. I never noticed that I do this in the air above the pot by pressing the knife through the potato into my thumb. I didn’t even feel it or notice that the blade was cutting my thumb until probably the third or fourth potato. By then I had a number of lacerations on my thumb that had started to bleed. I work construction and have rather calloused fingers and even a razor knife doesn’t cut my fingers easily yet this blade with a serrated blade cut me easily. I live in a very old house with no way to install a dishwasher the way the kitchen is set up so I wash my dishes by hand. The next time I used this knife I forgot it was in the sink so moving my hand through the sudsy water my fingers found it blade first and I cut myself again! This is why I say I may not be responsible enough to own this knife. In all seriousness though the knife is very well balanced, well made and again very sharp!
